How to upgrade:

Upgrading from within the OS

When the update is done the unit will restart by itself.

After some upgrades the bootstrap is also upgraded, this upgrade is performed right after restarting the Analog Heat. Do not turn the power off during the upgrade.

Upgrading from the Startup Menu

During the transfer a bar in the display shows the progress.

When the update is done the unit will restart by itself, booting the new OS.

After some upgrades the bootstrap is also upgraded, this upgrade is performed right after the first restart of the Analog Heat. Do not turn the power off during the upgrade.

To transfer the SysEx file we recommend using C6 - SysEx Tool by Elektron.

Downgrading is generally not recommended as user data may be lost.

List of changes from OS 1.10 to 1.20

Improvements

The Analog Heat now supports class compliant audio over USB.

Added flexible routing of audio over USB.

It is now possible to send and receive presets and settings via SysEx.

Added the functionality to tap the tempo.

[MKII] Added support for the Overbridge plugin.

[MKII] The screen saver now turns off the screen after 60 minutes of inactivity.

Bug fixes

[MKI] The filter graphics were not displayed properly.

[MKII] Real-time vu-metering, LFO, Filter, and Envelope visuals are now available on the main screen.

Bug fixes

A footswitch could not trigger the envelope.

CV and pedal levels that are above the configured Max level did not clip.

Overbridge support added. The lowest required Overbridge Software Suite version is 1.15.0.

Improved usage of factory calibration data.

Bug fixes

External MIDI tempo estimation was off by a few BPM. Fixed.
