Cassediments is a Sound Pack rich with atmospheric pads, drones, basses, and FX by Portland-based audio and visual artist Amulets. This evocative collection offers 79 samples of various textures, colors, weights, and moods for you to work with. These are fragments, many extended and shaped by time – hazy, sedimented layers that can drift, swell, and subtly shift as they play.
All sounds were created outside the box using some of Amulets’ favorite synths and effects, then pulled through tape loops, pedals, and more to capture the character and physicality of the process. The result is a dark palette full of malleable movement and usable unease – well suited for ambient beds, experimental rhythms, textural foundations, and pretty much anything else. They would be particularly fun to explore using Tonverk’s Grainer machine.
Cassediments works on stereo samplers such as Digitakt II and Tonverk, and any stereo or mono sampler capable of loading WAV files.
