Uncanny Valley
These drum machine-like sounds will strike you as being uncannily true to some of the analog, digital and rompler gear that inspired them. Sure, they do what they’re supposed to do – kick, snap, tick and so on – but their physicality, timbral quality, and presence is something quite out of the ordinary. There are some pretty unique pitched percussive sounds too: just check out that bedpan, whistle or gong sound. Expect waves of pleasure, ripples of joy and eddies of excitement. 64 Sounds, crafted by Auvrel, including 12 kicks, 13 snares, 11 hihats, 4 cymbals, 4 rimshots, 3 claves, 8 claps, and 9 miscellaneous percussions.

Please help yourself to this fine set of percussive sounds for the Analog Keys and Four. It’s not a huge set. It’s not wildly experimental or eccentric. It’s mainly your bread-and-butter kicks, snares, and hats, plus a few surprises courtesy of its talented creator. Hats off to Skinnerbox for making this neat Sound Pack. These drums sound good, won’t need further sculpting (unless you want to), and will do just what drums are supposed to do along with your basslines and melodic elements. It would be wrong to say no bells and whistles, though, because there are.

The New Blood Sound Pack gives a proper taste of the fresh additions. This free Sound Pack features 16 patterns and 64 Sounds. No samples used. This is a display of pure and raw analog percussion synthesis.

One for all, all for one. The Drum Enthusiast Sound Pack by Floppydisk Pirates is a multi platform Sound Pack, injecting the DNA of the Analog Keys and Analog Four in instruments capable of sample playback. The Drum Enthusiast Sound Pack consists of 64 percussion oriented sounds for the Analog Keys and Analog Four. But there is more.
These sounds have also been sampled, and the samples are included in the Sound Pack. Load them in the Digitakt, Digitakt II, Analog Rytm, Octatrack or Machinedrum UW for the ultimate taste of exactly how raw, synthetic, and analog recorded samples can sound.

Oxford Overdrive
This Sound Pack, made exclusively for the Monomachine, contains a smattering of user waveforms of a very special kind. Contrary to what many people believe, there were in fact some rare and beautiful synthesizers produced during the mid-80’s. The OSCar, made by the UK-based Oxford Synthesizer Company, was a 2-oscillator programmable synth capable of harmonic synthesis, various special filter modes, including a highly musical overdrive, that gave it a beautifully imaginative sonic character.
If you’re close friends with Stevie Wonder or Jean-Michel Jarre you may want to ask if you can borrow one of theirs. If not, the next best thing is to dig into these Oxford Overdrive waveforms. Your Monomachine, equipped with these, will be able to produce some of the most warm, rich and evocative sounds hitherto reserved for those lucky few who own an actual OSCar. All waveforms are assembled by Radek Rudnicki. The Patterns and Kits are crafted by Elektron.
