Aotearoa is the Māori name for New Zealand. We’ve all seen images of this enchanting part of the world, but what does New Zealand sound like? This Sound Pack, curated by Radek Rudnicki, is a rare collaborative effort to answer that question. This sample pack was designed creatively and conceptually by the talented students from Electronic Music Course at the School of Music and Creative Media Production, College of Creative Arts, Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand. It is made by the following young artists representing their view of New Zealand with sound (each sample is marked by its contributor, with initials at the end of the sample name): Maxine Macaulay – MM, James Mills Workman – JMW, Max McAlpine- Max, Crystal Phillips – CP, Josh Dominikovich -JD, Barnaby Dromgool – BD, Noah Spargo – NS, Adam McDonald – AM, Calvin Corner – CC, Solomon Crook – SC, Caleb Sircombe – CLS, Jacko Plumpton – JP This pack contains 84 unique samples, all infused with the spirit of New Zealand. The sound of nature (wind, wave and sea) and the sound of man (traditional and industrial) in beautiful harmony and dissonance.

While formatted for Digitakt, the sound files of this Sound Pack is also compatible with Digitakt II, Octatrack, Analog Rytm, and any other sampler that handles WAV files.
